Lately, strange things have been happening in my house. Like I never feel alone and I always seem to be FREEZING even when the house in relatively warm. Also, I get up in the middle of the night and sleepwalk which wakes up my dad. He heard my door open, creak, close, and SAW a figure walk down the hall but never heard (or saw) someone walk back up. He went to my room, and I was sound asleep. Also, a few weeks ago, I heard footsteps walk up to me every few minutes. I wouldn't sleep for a week because it was so loud, and consistent. I also heard a sticky sound (like tape) being made in my room and getting closer to me. As of right now, I feel something sitting on my feet. I'm getting very weirded out and cannot stand to even be in this house anymore.

Can you think of reason this might have been invited into the home or did it just start of the blue? What's the spiritual background of your family?

Many strange things happen that cannot be explained.

Many more strange things happen that can be explained by logical, rational thought and investigation.

What appear to be shapes and figures can be reflected lights or dust in the air or any number of things.

The fields electric currant emit can affect how we feel and make you uneasy.
Variation in the power supply to your house can cause appliances to do things they normally don't.

I believe in paranormal events and experienced them myself.

But first keep your mind open and look for rational explanations.

Keep a record of what , where , and when things happen.

Try to record noises you hear, take pictures, set up a camera for video monitoring .
These can answer a lot of questions and maybe confirm or deny anything that is happening.

Many people find having the house and it's people blessed comforting . Talk to the clergy of choice (if any) about this if you feel like it may help.

I believe you should state more reasons for why these things actually happen or occur in your place, obviously its not a poltergeist, not a demon in my observation as well, since both entities intend to show a high rate of activity and increase the disturbance daily by harming the beings. From what you've said, I can only establish its some sort of a human based spirit wondering around, I'm not jumping into conclusions, but you should specify more detailed info such as ''why'' would these activities are held in your place, did someone suicide in that location? Did any of your family members die recently? Are you keeping found objects in your house? Have anyone practiced the ouija board in your house lately?

So perhaps if you tell us more I'd manage to tell you what's going on.

I think it helps to figure out "what" is happening first.

"Why" may never be figured out and is usually the basis of the OP s question.

Just my opinion gathered from what I have seen that seems to get the best results.
