How do I transition from 1 3/8" drain pipe to 1 1/2" line?
I am renovating my bathroom in my old house. I tore out the plumbing in one bathroom and replaced it with PVC, including a 1 1/2" drain line for the bathtub. I am not replacing my old pedestal tub, which has a 1 3/8" chrome drain line. How do I connect the 1 3/8" chrome drain line to the 1 1/2" PVC drain line in the floor? Is there any kind of flange I can get that will dress up the floor opening for this line?

    Hi DDF

You must go to a local plumbing supply house and purchase a 1-3/8" x 1.5" chrome nut and washer.

This is something you will only find at a plumbing supply store... may even need to be oredered through them... ;)
