I'm a blonde, I need to know which is best for highlighting my hair ? Using a color or using bleach for a time depending on how light? Ive been to different salons and was surprised when she simply just used bleach. I figure if it lightens its going to have bleach in it even if using a color... *** help!

Okay so my Mom is a hairdresser and the best way to highlight it without frying or damaging your hair is to NOT use black. This can cause breakage and damage your hair. The only reason you should use bleach is if your going from black to blonde. Color would turn and blend way better!

If it lightens with color then you won't need bleach. But DO NOT constantly use bleach on your hair... you will have a frizzled mess... believe me when I say this! Hope this helped~
