I am careful about products that I put on my face. One product I just use it for its sp factor (skin protection from the sun). I really don't want my skin to absorb it ( because I feel what goes into your skin is absorbed into the body), but I do want the protection from the sun. So I put cold water on my face to close the pores. In your opinion, am I still getting the sp factor protection?

Any tips wiil be appreciated.
