If a lavatory sink (bathroom) then 18" is standard in my area.

If a pedestal sink (bathroom) then 20" is standard in my area.

If a kitchen sink then 15" is appropriate to accommodate a disposal.

Yep, we rough in the same around here. However, it is always best to know exactly what sink (especially bathroom sink) you are going to have. I have roughed in b.s at 18 only to find the homeowner decided to get a fancy vanity cabinet with drawers on the bottom, or a shelf in the middle, or extra long legs, etc. This, many times, will cause problems with fitment of p-trap, and you have to either cut into the wall to repipe, or cut up the cabinet to make it work. Like I said, best to know exactly what sink you will be using and get a rough in sheet for it. This way you will avoid a real headache. That being said, if you are just going with standard fixutes and cabinets, all Marks rough dimensions are dead on.

I would like to add... for kitchen sink rough-in: If you plan on installing deep sink, like 10", then you want to rough it drain inlet even lower so the trap barely clears bottom of the cabinet.
