My brother passed away last year 2010 and his wife is working in Hongkong. She can not provide the needs of her three children especially the two older ones are in college. The youngest who is 9 years old is in third grade and these three nephews of mine are living with my other brother. Iwant to adopt the 9 year old. I am 52 years old and married. We have 5 kids. Ages are 30, 29, 26( all married ) 20 years old in college. All 4 kids lives in Chicago and the youngest( 13 years old ) lives with us here in Raleigh, N.C.
I have a full time job and my wife works part time only inorder to take care of the youngest kid.

You retain a Family Law attorney to prepare the adoption petition. If the mother is willing, then this should be very easy. If the mother is not willing, most likely its impossible.
