Wind load calculation for each member
May I know how to calculate the wind load on each member in a segment (horizondals, legs and diagonal members) when I have the loads at each heights of the segments in a communication tower.

ty for your reply talaniman. Actually my design is based on IS875 and IS800. It's that I have loads at different joints in the tower structure and I kind of want to split the load at that joint to each members. (the pressure inensity x area of obstruction is as per old code now that they have revised them I would like to know how its calculated.)

When the pressure (wind velocity) is unknown you have to estimate according to the height of the structure, and an standard guidelines in the links I sent you. You will notice they using different velocity's for different heights, and conditions which conform to IS9000 standards. They have several additional links on that site I gave you.
