Browsing and searching for resources for my own case with my 17 years son...

I did end asking him to leave the house. He is at a youth shelter and I am dealing with sadness and flashes of guiltiness. But at the same time, something inside me tells me I need to be firm; mainly for my love to him. I think the best way to help us (Mothers with similar situations) is to get help for ourselves such counselling and all kind of support/

You do realize that kicking out a 17 year old could be illegal don't you?

If I remmeber correctly, I believe he piggy backed this on a question about violent and abusive teens. I would assume this child is voilent and abuseive as well and the youth center is a safer place for him.
