    Presidents day joke.
I would have put this in the Humour forum... but some liberal would take offense to Blaspheming the Messiah. So I put it here.

    Presidents Day

I was eating lunch today with my 10 year
Old grandson when his mom asked him “What
Is tomorrow?” He said, “It's President's Day”.
She asked, “What does that mean?”... I was
Waiting for something profound and was not
Disappointed. He said, “President's Day is
When Obama steps out of the White House and
If he sees his shadow, we have two more years
    Of unemployment.”

I almost snorted my Diet Coke.

There should be no more unemployment since the wealthy got their welfare extended. Everyone kept saying with all the uncertainty of the tax cuts not being extended no one will hire. Well the uncertainty is gone so where are the jobs? The 112th congress is a complete failure.

Its going to take a lot longer than two years just to get it back to Bush era levels. And even THAT is being optimistic I'm sad to say.

    Hello again, smoothy:

Finally, a misunderstanding rather than a disagreement. I was talking about the tax rate. You were talking about the unemployment rate.. No harm, no foul.

I really don't care WHAT Obama thinks. I don't like him, I will never like him... and that's NOT going to change. I can't even print what comes to mind every time I see that egocentric blowhard on TV. Or his fat*ssed wife. Mischelle "Wide Load" Obama the self proclaimed Nutrition expert... wants to declare war on obesity but can't get her own behind under control.

For all any of us know he picks his butt all day and was sniffing his finger shortly before that was taken.

    Hello again, smoothy:

Two wars waged on BORROWED money, plus an unpaid for tax cut to the rich that he BORROWED the money for, mortgaged your children's future. Anybody can live well on BORROWED money.

We could have over 100,000 wars for the price of our unfunded liabilities.

The 1st jobs report after the extension of the tax rates for all Americans was positive .
Good News in Jobs Report as Unemployment Rate Dips Under 9 Percent - The Note

By contrast ; here is a perfect example of the stimulus program's performance.

Loeb's Perfect New York Deli Restaurant in Washington DC ;and other retail businesses, were forced by the government to either relocate or go out of business. Loeb's is one of the lucky ones. They had rented space in the Federal building they were in for 51 years . Then they suddenly ,and without warning ,got an eviction notice with no time to seek an alternate location. It took them almost a half year to restart their business;and I have no idea if the other retail shops ever reopened.

Meanwhile ,the building they were evicted from has yet to begin reconstruction 2 + years since the stimulus money was designated for the project.
What Happened to Loeb?s Deli? | The Weekly Standard

Typical of the Reagan axiom... "I'm from the Federal Government and I'm here to help".

So if you are ever in DC ,make sure you eat lunch at Loeb's new location at 832 15th Street NW by McPherson Square Station.

Since we are on the economy. Did anyone read this and what are your thoughts?

Economic Warfare: Risks and Responses by Kevin D. Freeman

Yes .I read it last week when there was speculation of a George Soros raid on the economy in the fall of 2008.

Although I see that scenario as probable given that Soros had a lot invested in Obama's success; the truth of the matter is that the die was cast .If the foundations of the economy was rocked ;it's primarily because it was built on the sands of government central planning to achieve a social outcome.
With our without economic terrorism ,the house of cards was going to come down .

    Hello again, dad:

This was the book Glenn Beck was throwing around the other day. It says when Sorros made his money, he was attacking the US.. I guess when I make money, I'm attacking the country too...

    It's bonkers, just like Beck.

Tell that to the Brits. Soros short sold the Sterling on Black Wednesday ,1992 .1997 he did a similar attack on the Malaysia and Thailand's currency.

It's funny that you think what Soros does is cool while you think the US bankers in 2008 were predatory.

    Hello again, tom:

You COULD call my investment in gold an "attack" on the US. You COULD if you were bonkers.

You COULD also call what the bankers did to RIP the US OFF, and investment.. You COULD, if you were bonkers.

Really what about all the WELFARE to illegals and high school; droppouts... and the 38% of the public that not only pay no federal taxes to begin with... but they get handed tax dollars those of us with jopbs had to pay.

And that's not even touching that financial disaster Obamacare.

Obama quadrupled the worst debt George bBush had or even created the entire 8 years he was in office... combined... and Obama did that in only 2 years... and that's not good enough... he is on his way to dwarfing even that.

And THAT is ALL BORROWED MONEY.
