It depends. What is your background? Do you have an education? Do you have work experience?

Most people can find a job at 27, but it won't necessarily be your dream job unless you have the education and experience they're looking for.

Pet sitting isn't bad for someone younger, but it doesn't pay the bills. At 27 I'm thinking that the original poster is looking for a job that will pay for a place to live, bills, food, a car, and much more. You won't get that with pet sitting unless you start a business where many pet sitters work for you and you get a portion of the profit. That would be a huge undertaking, and not cheap to start.
