Is it possible to still be pregnant after a miscarriage
Hi, my name is Adriana. I had a miscarriage almost 4 weeks ago. I did not have to have a d n c done. My doctor did an ultrasound and told me I had passed everything normally. Lately thoug I've been feeling as if I am still pregnant. Headaches, nausea, tiredness, soar breasts all that never really went away. I looked up on the internet and found that some women who were pregnant with twins might lose one and still be pregnant with the other. I am just wondering if my situation sound familiar to any of those cases because twins exist on both my side of the family and my ex boyfriends. Any information would be greatly appreciated

If your doctor did an ultrasound then it's unlikely that you're still pregnant. If you were carrying another fetus, the doctor would have seen it on ultrasound.

After a miscarriage it can take a while for the pregnancy hormones to completely leave your system. Your body can sometimes still feel pregnant, even though you aren't.

    That's likely what's happening here.

    I'm sorry for your loss.

+1 to all alty said. Also its very common after a misscarriage for your body to go into post partum depression and your symptoms could be psychosomatic, which is when your mind has subconciously convinced your body that you are pregnant, and so your body reacts as if you are. Best advice I can give you is to see your doctor.

These are also very common symptoms of depression. Please get checked out. I am so sorry for your loss *hugs*
