A package of mass M slides down a surface of constant gradient.
What is the resultant acceleration of the package if;
*
M = 155 kg
*
Gradient = 1 in 10
*
Total resistance to motion = 20 N
*
g=9.81 m/s2

The gravitational force trying to pull the package down the ramp is, where
is the angle of the ramp. Can you calculate the force?
Meanwhile, the force opposing the downward slide is 20N. So between that and the gravitational force pulling it down the ramp, what's the total force acting on the package?
Once you know the force, do you know how to calculate the acceleration?
I found the force then how I do calculate the acceleration can you help me please
Can you show us how you got the force?
Also, to get the acceleration, use: F = ma
where F is the net force acting on the package, m is the mass and a is the acceleration.
f=0 there is no force... you got a solid mech test on the 9th don't you loool
