My son buggered his PC the other day (we think farting around with Limewire) and now he can't get it to turn on properly. We've tried opening it in "Safe" mode and opening it in the last proper setting. But all I keep getting is the message "Reboot and select proper Boot Device or Insert Boot Media in selected Boot device and press a key."

Haven't had any luck, since I'm not really sure what the Boot device is. Any suggestions?

It really sounds like he got into the bio`s and changed the boot order -- to get into bio`s you must hit the correct key as the PC is booting up. When booting see if on the splash screen a key is mentioned for set-up. If not try Esc [compac`s] delete [dell]
