    Negative HPT
I have Endometriosis and my GYN recommended me to stay on BC and not stop to have a period. I have done this for 2 years and came off my pills in December to get pregnant. I started having a few pregnancy symptoms and my period is late, but the HPT is negative. What should I do now? Do I wait for another week to take a pregnancy test or should I go have a blood test done? I am afraid that being on BC constantly may affect my chances of getting pregnant. Any advise.

Did you take the HPT first thing in the morning?

It is possible that the hormones from the pill are still in your system. I would suggest waiting another week to take another test. If it is negative then you should make an appointment with your doctor to find out why, if it is positive you should make a prenatal appointment.
