This is my first period ever and it is very very light and it's brown! Like very brown! And very abnormally light! I don't know is this weird?

It's not weird at all. And remember, its not "abnormally light" because you haven't had a period before to compare it too. ;)

Its not uncommon for women of any age to experience brown discharge around the time of your period.

Have you told an adult about this? Since its your first period, I just want to be sure you're prepared with pads and other things you might need. It may take some time before you develop a "normal" period so feel free to ask questions and talk with a trusted adult/parent.
