I am a new mother to be I am 7 weeks now and I was wondering if it is normal to bleed a bit after sex... it is very light but I am still bleeding?? Help please

Ok, so sometimes when you are pregnant, and you have sex you can have some spotting or bleeding due to the cervix being sensitive. I would, if I were you, go to the doctor just to make certain that everything is OK. However, being as early as you are if you were miscarrying, there wouldn't be much they could do to stop it. Bleeding, or spotting after sex is very common in pregnancy as the cervix is highly vascular. Any amount of manipulation to the cervix can cause spotting.

With that said, if you are cramping and having bright red period-like blood, seek medical attention at once.

If it's only spotting, and only after intercourse, most likely it is caused by cervical manipulation.
