    Rusted tub drain stopper?
I have a brass stopper that is rusted to the pipe and will not budge. I flushed rust removal down to no avail. To comp;icate matters the tub sits on concrete floor so I can't just cut out the pipe section. Any ideas on how to yank the stopper out?

Hey! That is frustrating, for sure!

You could try some PENETRATING lubricant here.

Also, as much as you are trying to pull the stopper up and out, try hitting the stopper down using a long chisel and hammer... see if that disengages it and allows you to pull it up and out!

Let me know how you make out, OK?

Being that its all brass, it is not rust that's the problem. Granted the stopper is stuck for some reason. Try sticking the handles of a pair of channel lock pliers down so that they engage either side of the cross bar in the stopper. Try to twist or rotate the stopper. If necessary use another pair of pliers to turn the pliers you have stuck in the stopper.
