    If you don't know how old you have to be to get a license I suspect you aren't old enough to get a license.

    Uhm I'm 17 idiot, so don't act like you know anything. And its cause they just passed a new law saying you have to be 18? I live in Texas

    I'm reading a permit at 15, license at 18 with driving school. I'm not seeing any recent changes.

    Call DMV and ask.
