How do I prepare a k/m washer for a move. I know I have to tighten down the agitator, but how do I do it?

Are you talking a long distance move or a local move, if it's a local move just drain it and stuff a king size cumforter in it and that will work just fine for a short move.

Short move is no big deal just keep it upright don't lay it on its side I move washers all the time and never have to lock down the agitator. You will be fine no need for any blankets in the tub.
