I was receiving food stamps and medicaid. I did not renew my benefits because I got a job and didn't think I'd need them. I am no longer working... but it's only been2 weeks since my benefits ended. I tried accessing my account online (using my name, birthday and case #) but it said that my information did not match their records. Should I fill out a new application now?

Call the public aid office to find out what to do. It might be a simple thing to reestablish your benefits.

And I will assume you were reporting the income when you did work, but yes if they have closed it, you will have to re-apply
