Why does my softub spa not blow bubbles
I just filled my Softub spa with fresh water. The water temperature is at 104 deg. the heating process is complete but the jets blow very few small bubbles when on.

What can I do short of calling for repair?

Your hot tub at l04 degrees F is enough to create a heart attack in a person with high cholesterol. Your normal body temp is 96 or so, so why would you want to sit in a hot tub that is hotter then your body temp. Sorry, off topic but bubbles, okay, put in some bubble bath. But be careful.

Good day. If you pull the dial off you will notice there is a round piece that is probably broken, or just fallen off. Relace this or just pit the piece back on the right way. Let me know if that helps. [email protected]

    Tickle,

The maximum temp for a spa or hot tub is regulated to be 104 D F

Anyone with serious medical issues should check with their doctor.

I use my spa daily at 104 degrees and still alive.

Kstar, as ottowa stated there is some sort of control that increases or decreases the amount of bubbles. Check with your units instruction manual.

    According to the manual: http://www.softub.com/OwnersManual.pdf

There is an air control valve.

Actually normal body temp is 98.6

Kstar4u finds this helpful : thanks for the advice.. my b temp. is a little higher than 96

Apologies for making that an issue, but all hot tub warnings in Ontario are for people who have heart problems, that prolonged use is not safe. One hundred and four temp in a hot tub raises blood pressure to a dangerous level.

I am a healthcare professional so was natural for me give the usual warnings about hot tubs, elderly people and people with heart problems.
