Hey does anyone have any idea what a fractured coccyx is worth?
Worth in terms of damages for a Personal injury case. Fractured coccyx and the resulting six plus weeks of pain, as well as future pain and suffering.

    Thanks,

It all depends on the circumstances. You are going to have to give details if you want some help with this one.

There is no chart for pain and suffering. Depends on your age, prognosis, level of pain, level of inconvenience - and a LOT depends on your medical treatment.

I fell down stairs years ago and fractured my coccyx - I don't recall any significant level of pain after the first five days.

What does your Physician say? Who are you planning to sue?

You are an RN, in law school. You have all the resources at your fingertips.

Thank you, it's not for me. I was looking for something along the lines of the workers comp bible (rates various body injuries with a monetary value). Apparently, the insurance industry keeps its formulas tight to the vest when it comes to things like this, for obvious reasons. From the research so far looks like 1.5 to 3 times the medical damages is what they use as a rough reference.

    Thanks
