I'm on my second month of aviane because pill and I have started having slight cramps and sore breasts for the last couple of days, I'm two weeks into this pack. I had sex on Feb 9 during my first month of pills,this was around the 3rd week. I had my period on the inactive pills about 3 days later and it lasted about 3-4 days. I'm just not sure if this is a side effect of the because pill because I don't believe that I am pregnant. I also used spermicide right after. I think I may just be paranoid since that was my first time having sex and my first month on birth control. I didn't think you have periods if you're pregnant, but I'm still worried because it was soon after although it was on time.

You don't have periods when pregnant, but you can have some bleeding while pregnant. More than likely it is the result of starting the birth control. While pregnancy is always possible, even with contraception, that you were on it for a few weeks and used a spermicide makes the odds low.

Continue to take them, and see what happens when you would use the inactive pills next. If need be, try a pregnancy test at that time.

OK here is a strange question but I am a mom of 2 and have 1 on the way. My fience and usually very careful. My fist baby was concived a day after my period ended, my 2nd a about 3 days after my period ended and my now 3rd baby was conceived while (I was on the depo shot) and we used a condom bit somehow tore but I always get my shot on time. Is there a such thing as being to fertile. Cause not many people get pregnant right after there period and my ovulation usually starts about 9 days after my period ends.
