But when I'm at school, I don't think he doesn't really try to talk to me and we only really talk when I talk to him in the hallways or something and I might like him but he doesn't seem to really like me back... But at 14, you're far too young for any serious type of relationship. Focus on learning how to communicate with people and on developing friendships.

He probably doesn't talk to you that much because he's nervous that he might do something that you don't like... but just like what justcurious55 said only he can answer that question...

Texting has ruined the art of communication in many ways. He's comfortable texting you because he doesn't have to be face to face with you. It's an ever growing problem with the teen generation right now. They no longer know how to have a face to face conversation because of texting, skyping, Facebook, chat rooms.

One day people will probably lose the ability to talk if this keeps up.

Ask him why he won't talk to you in school. Only he knows why, but I'm betting it's the fear of face to face communication.

Sigh. I fear for our future. :(
