Last night I started by feeling like I had trapped wind... once I had some hot water I started to belch but then I started to vomit. It felt as though after every wrench of my stomach I belched some more. Now I have a sore throat, but it also feels like there is something constantly stuck in my wind pipe around my chest area that won't go down. Furthermore when I belch or cough I now feel discomfort in the middle of my back as well as my chest where it feels like the 'thing' is.

I would take myself off to the nearest clinic or ER and get checked out. We can't diagnose here, too much to know about the poster. You could be describing many ailments and what you describe probably needs an ekg.
