    Toilet Suction?
    My toilet will not flush the flapper in the tank is open but the water in the tank will not go down

    Well you might want to try jiggling the handle a little bit that will probably help. But if the water won't go down trying unattaching the chain from the handle and then re-attaching it, it might be a little dirty or worn down. If that doesen't work consult a plumber or someone at your local hardware store.

    Other drains go down OK?
    Cold climate?
    Did you try a plunger?
    Is the tank full of water?

    You may have years of mineral deposits in the tiny holes under the rim that let water in, and in the slightly bigger siphon hole way down the bottom of the bowl. Try a coat hanger if you see a hole (older toilets).
