Will shoplifting case ( dismissed) be affecting my citizenship for Canada ?
Hi, I was caught for shoplifting at bay, north York , Ontario. But the case has already been dismissed. Court putted me under diversion program underneath which I did 60 community hrs, 1 shoplifting class and court charged $ 200 . The theft was under $5000. But at that time I had already applied for the citizenship for Canada, and recently I got the letter for fingerprinting, so does that mean that there are chances that I will not be able to get the Canadian citizenship? *** help I'm really tensed. This mistake was my first ad last. *** help
