If you tend to ovulate early, sex during a period may result in a pregnancy. It is not the most likely time, but it can happen.

It sounds as though you are trying to become pregnant, so keep in mind that it may happen in the first few months of trying or it may not happen for a good many months... sometimes even a year or more.

For most women, ovulation is likely to occur about 12-16 days before a period is due, but some will ovulate sooner and some later as their norm. If you are able to have sex every couple of days throughout each cycle, you are likely doing fine with timing.
