    Father not found
I have appileed for child support over 8 months ago and they can't seem to track him down what should I do? He is always trying to contact me by blocked numbers trying to get his son but I'm not allowing it until we go to court. Now he is trying to take him from me but he has never bin in his life to do that. What should I do?

How is he trying to take your son? Show up and take him physically? Get a Court Order to take him?

The Child Support Unit has resources and can locate him. It takes time, sometimes a LOT of time.

Have you gone back to Court to hold him in contempt? They'll help you find him.

He has called social services on me saying I wasn't taking care of my child and that he is dirty.. I haven't even bin to court for anything yet.. I keep calling the child support place and they tell me the same thing they haven't found a location for him.

As I understand it, there is no order in place. No court order - no contempt of court.

Where did you file for/apply for child support? Court and it hasn't been heard yet?

Social services would have his address if he keeps reporting you. They take that info if the "complaint" is taken seriously at least in my area.

Sounds like nobody is doing much to help you. Do you qualify for free legal advice in your area?
