My dad is a convicted felon. He has also been diagnoised with cancer. He needs health care but has no insurance or money. He is severely disabled but is so far not elgible for any help other than food stamps.
He is living on his 10 acres without any running water or electricity. He is living in a tent.
I trying to find out if there is anything I can find to either help him get a grant or insurance. Advice?

Speaking as a felon, there are NO grants available for him as a FELON. His conviction won't stop him from getting any other grants, though. I'd check with his church.

It used to be, that sick homeless people were worthy of help.. But, these days, as a nation, we don't mind seeing sick and dying people laying around on the sidewalk. So, I wouldn't hold out much hope.
