I gave my aunt( by marrige) temp custody until I got on my feet and she does not want to return my custody to me so she is trying to do and say ugly things to try and et the judge to rule in her favor. I was told to have a full-time job, a home, and be finacially stable to be able to take care of my kids. Should I be able to get them returned to me?

The Court will evaluate both situations and determine what is best for the children. What is said matters little; what you can PROVE is what matters.

How old are the children? How long have you been getting on your feet?

1. how long has she had the children, 3 months or 3 years or 10 years. My opinion and answer will depend a lot on that.

2. if the judge gave you specific requirements then they will likely be open to allowing it , if you meet all of them.
