I just took apart the polit to clean it on my furnace and saw that there was a small flame at the end of the pipe that is right under the polit light so I took it back apart and tighten it down finger tight then I did it with needlenose piliers I want to know if there is anyway that that will start to leak again and could the flame back up in there and expoled thanks

That flame is your pilot light so what you were cleaning was more likely a thermocouple. Nothing will explode but, pardon my candor, it seems like you are playing with fire. Unless you really know what you are doing its sometimes best to leave electric and gas fixture alone. You can always come here and ask how to do something and we will walk you through it or at least help you determine if it really is something within your skill set
