A friend of mine had a baby six months ago by some guy who was just hooking up with her... He has 3 children of his own... 4yrs, 1yr and a 8month old... He is back together with his girlfriend with whom he has 3 kids with already. My friend is so furious because he hasn't done anything for her daughter and she won't allow him to see the baby unless he comes to her house... Why is she doing this and when will it stop?

Get an attorney. Sue for visitation. A support order will probably be entered at the same time.

How would the father go about signing over all rights to this child is it possible to do so without the mother's alproval?

Why in the WORLD would any court want him to get out of paying child support for a kid he doesn't want but has because he couldn't either wrap his pecker or keep it in his pants in the first place? If that were possible, don't you think the thousands of men sitting in jail for non-payment of child support would have done it years ago?

If he wants to be involved in the child's life, he goes to court and gets a visitation order and a child support order.

If he doesn't want to be involved, he waits for HER to get a child support order and pays it every month.

But either way, he's going to be the legal father and he's going to probably have to pay child support.

Maybe he could go to high schools and talk to guys about the financial consequences of not having protected sex? Or if he did use a condom, maybe he could talk about how sex = babies, and that no birth control is 100%, so if you don't want to be linked to a woman the rest of your life and pay for a child you didn't intend to have, you should just go home and masturbate instead of hooking up?
