I have a beautiful female 2year old female whippet. I have just come out of a long relationship and my ex can no longer look after her. I am now liviing in a house where she has no access to an outside area. So in the meantime she is staying with my Mum and her kurcher where she seems happy. I do miss her though and was wondering if thought it would be cruel to have her in a place she cannot get outside. I am studying for the next 6 months and I am around a lot and will then be moving. Or should she stay at my mums where she has a huge garden with all day access?

That depends on some things. Would you need to leave her by herself more than 4-5 hours very often? How much time does she spend outside? Some of my dogs love it outside spending hours out there when I would bring them in as soon as they barked. Others do what they went out for, and are ready to come back in. Some dogs become more closely attached to one certain person than others, although the older a dog gets, the more important having the right people is. She could be missing you as much as you miss her.
