My son is 17 years old and moved in with his dad
My son and I were arguing too much so I sent him to his dads. He now wants to stay there. We have another child age 8. He is taking me to court to have his child support modified to reflect my son living with him. My question is: will I be required to pay him support for my son even though I still have the younger child with me? And If so for how long? Our support papers reflect that if my son was to go to college he would have to pay support until he graduated school.

This can't possibly be answered without a LOT more information. Laws vary by region; where are you located?

Child support is often based on the custodial parent's income. Because you both have a child which you have primary physical custody of, they're probably going to have to calculate BOTH of your incomes against each other and take it from there. Again - this is just a guess because I don't know where you are.
