My ex boyfriend has joint custody with our now 5 year old.He was given every 3 weekends of the month back in 2007. He has chosen not to see her in over 4 years. He took her the first weekend after court and hasn't seen her since. He makes no contact with me or her, and has stopped making child support payments for over 7 months now. I am married now, going on 3 years with a 16 month old and pregnant.
Im wondering if I have the right to file for abandonment to have his rights removed so my husband can adopt her.
