Hi guys, I would appreciate any recommendations or suggestions.

My dermatologist described me Hydroquinone 5%, because I have loads of freckles and flat moles. However I only used the Hydroquinone for 2 months because it irritated my skin. I discontinued with HQ, but now I still have greyish/brownish circles around my spots, caused my HQ. It looks really awful and unattractive and I am very concerned whether this will be permanent or not? My dermatologist told me to use an acne cream with Azelaic acid , also I take a herb mixture to purify my blood, this cause turnover of cells quickly and I am hoping due to the peel it will slowly all fade away until normal. But so far my I am worried this could be permanent? Its now like this since 4 months. By the way I am very fair. Always using sunscreen. I am never in the sun.
