    Am I pregnant?
My boyfriend & I had sex the 12 & 13th of February (meaning 8 days ago). I am suppose to get my period this Friday, but I have a feeling I won't get it. I keep getting cramps like I normally would every time I get up too fast or are on my feet too long. Also, I have a lot of discharge, but it's water like and feels like the discharge I get before I'm about to have sex. And, my breasts hurt. It's like a sore feeling. Please help me. I'm 17. We did use a condom, but it broke. My mother won't put me on birth control because she says it would give me the right to have sex. It's all my fault if I am pregnant, I know. Just please, help.

You can only wait and see if you miss this month. Then, about a week later, take a test to confirm either way.

Stressing about it won't help either.

I agree with the above. You won't be able to tell until you've actually missed the period. Also, you're young and it's possible you may just be having an abnormal period. Keep an eye on it and take a test in about 2 weeks or so. If you're still concerned, see a doctor but for the moment, don't stress.

Also remember condoms even if they don't break are not 100 percent effective, the last time I checked the stats were about a 3 percent failure rate if used as instructed and close to a 10 percent failure rate as commonly used.

Also you need since you are obviously having sex, need to sit down with mom and have a heart to heart talk, tell her you are having sex anyway, and at least with another form of birth control and condoms it would be safer ( although still possible even using both to get pregnant)

Thus the reason not to have sex unless you are ready to have a baby
