    Post flush noise
About 20 seconds after flushing one of my upstairs toilets the pipes make a rumbleing noise. The toilet flushes OK and no problems with any of the other toilets in the house, and its always about 20 seconds after flushing. Any ideas?

    Hey Karen,

It's kind of hard to tell when you're it vthere but it sounds like you're listening to the discharge as it drops down the stack on its way to the main. Unless you're referring to the water pipes. What pipes are you referring to? Regards, Tom

The noise sounds like the pipes are shaking. I'm worried ths could cause something to break loose?

Once more, What pipes are shaking? The water pipes or the drainage pipes?
Does the noise come from, the tank? The discharge going down the pipes after you flush? The water pipes inside the wall? Please give us some details to work with. Regards, Tom
