Please help me with this one, it`s driving me insane.

The movie was about an American or Canadian girl\teenager\young woman who from what I can remember had an illness of some description that she battles to take part in or win a skiing ( cross-country I think )competition. It had an amazing soundtrack during the outdoor skiing scenes especially near the end.

Sorry info is a bit vague but it was a long time ago.
