Right I am aware how bizarre a reasonable question it may, but I did want to know what you guys thought of this how can you tell if your in love? Or that somebody i.e. a partner etc loves you ( genuinely) in both occasions any thoughts on this would be much appreciated as although it is not for me personally I am curious as to your opinions thank you :)

I knew I was in love when I stopped thinking about the short term and started planning long term. That is the unromantic answer.

My romantic answer: I actually knew I loved him right from the beginning. It was butterflies in my stomach when he was around, not wanting to be apart from him. I actually said to a friend of mine before my husband and I started dating "I am going to marry that guy"... and I did.

On another romantic note... the first time he said he loved me we were outside and looking at the stars... he said I love you... and then 3 seconds later we saw a shooting star.

Well I know when it comes to me I find u know your in love when u can't even talk to the person because your afraid you will mess up and say something wrong.Also when u find yourself thinking of them randomly and wishing they were with you.

- They're on your mind 24/7 and you're happy w/o "real" reason
- You feel lonely when they're apart and extremely happy when they're present
- All of a sudden, life is much better...
- You can't take your eyes off them when you see them
- You long for their love...
These are only 5 out of numerous other "symptoms". ;) This is how I feel right now...

There are many levels:
I believe you can be "in love" when you're 13 and you feel that this is what is driving you to sneak out your window in the middle of the night.
I believe you can be in love when you look at him, and feel secure enough to let him touch you where no one has before, and when you see him as the "one" who was worth the wait.
I believe you can be in love when you start thinking about what colleges are best for you based on what HE"S narrowed his choices down to.
And I believe the greatest love of all is when you stop seeing every other man as an option, and start focusing everyday on little details that will ensure the two you will last forever. When you have found the person who knows and loves you for all your faults, and actually wants to know more of them because he can't imagine not helping you deal with any hidden pain. When you BOTH would sacrifice everything to be with each other. When you've found the person who can't wait for you to come home even though your feet always smell of something rotten when you take off your shoes at the door. Most of all, when you have found someone who actually understands the word "forever", and wants to spend it with you. :)

You know you have been bitten when :Their sick with the flu and all green in the face and you still think they are adorable :)

You know they have been bitten when: You are sick with the flu all green in the face and they are by your side or checking on you to see if you need anything and they still find you adorable :)

Actually there are a number of different ways to tell. But the number one reason, I would think, would be, when you know longer ask yourself " Am I in Love?". You won't have to ask, you will just know it and feel it. Just be prepared for the flu days, it's all a part of it :)
