    Laundry Drain Blocked
I noticed that water was streaming down the front of my roof and that it must be coming from the roof vent. I also noticed that this happened only when the washer machine was spinning. I realized that this probably wasn't a good thing. I took a SMALL auger and tried to run it into the drain between the two water inlets. It was difficult. It did go too far. I tried to remove it and it broke off in the drain. I also realized I had some drain cleaner- sulfuric acid type. I poured that into the drain and followed the directions. Over all it sat 2 hours.
I flushed with a couple of cups of hot water. Then I tried running a small load. NOW I have difficulty getting the water to go into the drain. I no longer have water on the roof. How do I deal with the original problem? What can I do about the new problem?

The drain line's blocked and must be snaked and the broken snake retrived. They make a retrival tip that most plumbers carry on their truck. If you call in a plumber be sure to tell him that youi have contaminated the drain with sulfuric acid and made his job more difficult and dangerous. If you fail to so and he loses his eyesight because he didn't realize that the liquid in the drain was contaminated by sulfuric acid you could be sued for everything you own. Let him know, Tom
