I asked this 9th grade girl out on a date. But what I didn't realize is that a girl in my grade was her older sister. Then the older sister started to yell at me and what it looks that she was about to cry she walked off. So basically I'm really confused on the subject.

We can only guess - sure, it sounds like jealousy, or some sort of embarrassment that she was passed over, whether she wants to go out with you or not. Or she feels that you are too old for her sister. Try to remember...

I don't know what the girl was thinking or what is going on in her head. What did she say?
