Ive had a hole in my tooth for quite some time now, and the dentist hasn't contacted me back for about 18 months, every now and then a pinkish gum thing raises up between my teeth and I don't know what it is. Please Help

Don't wait for the dentist to contact you. You should go back and have that seen too. Sounds like you have something wrong with your gums.
