Should you leave your own home when your spouse retrieves personal items...
If there is a restraining order in place and your spouse has been granted a time to retrieve her personal belongings from the home that YOU own... and she is accompanied by a sheriff... are you required to leave your home..?

To avoid conflict it might be best. Or go to a room with closed door and don't interfere.

You also might ask the police what their policy is. As it might make them more nervous about the situation.

Actually they are the ones that are actually not suppose to come near you, so they are being allowed to with a officer present.

Is there a list that the officer has of what is their property ?

Do you have a friend that can be there for you ?

I think it would be best if you were gone, but I don't think they can make you leave
