    Don't be embarrassed or afraid to talk to your mom about this. I am no Doctor but know a little about some medical things. This is something that you need to talk to mom about or at least see your doctor. Your breasts are functioning organs, and they have glands in them that can get infected and cause swelling, but the safe bet here is see your doctor about it.

    I agree with molecule, also may I suggest if your sexually active to take a pregnancy test... I don't know your age so please don't take offence to that, but the same thing has happened me (see my own questions) and I'm pregnant.

    How old are you? Why would you be embarrassed about talking to your mom? You should be seeing an OB/GYN for regular checkups once you go through puberty. It's not abnormal that your breasts develop asymmetrically.

    And how is your boyfriend going to tell? Does that mean you are sexually active?

    15 n because I'm just naturally shy. I haven't been to an OB yet and no I'm not sexually active yet

    OB = obstetrician = baby doctor (during pregnancy and delivery)

    GYN = gynecologist = woman's doctor

    Let me see, your boyfriend is going to see the difference in size and difference in nipple color, but you feel funny about a doctor seeing it ?

    I will address the doctor, you need to understand that part of growing up ( or even being a child) is having to visit and see a doctor that will involved all parts of our body, male or female, You will need to find and go to a doctor many times and often for regular checks ups.
    So talk to your mom, find you a doctor you feel good about and get over being embarrassed
