Managed to ground out my Tecumseh Engine for Snowblowers and it sparks. I have put little gasoline on the spark plug and the engine starts for about 2 minutes, then stopped. Tried to crank again, but never starts. It will start only a little when I put little gas on the spark plug. Any idea why not firing or starting the engine?? Thanks

You have something in the carb keeping it from getting fuel
Probably need to remove and clean the carb.

I have removed the carburator and cleaned it very well like new. When starting, it's not going through. It starts only when I put a little bit of gas on the spark plug for about 5 seconds. Don't know what else to do to have this equipment keep running. I have separated the front main blade for snow throwing from the engine and I suspect that is nothing to do with that. Engine will start without the blade. Can someone help please?? Thanks a lot.
