I want to get married on a Sunday but I have to get my marriage license prior to that date which date goes on the marriage license??

The day you get married goes on the license, or what am I missing here ?

I am wondering here what you really mean and trying to answer and it is difficult.

Are you being married in a civil cermony, or in a church ? Do you know what I mean... which is it ?

I am not sure that OP is old enough or sorry smart enough to get married,


You can get your marriage license long before your wedding date, ( and have to in some states in the US)

The date you get the license is one date, the other date is the date the pastor or judge puts on, when they do the service. The date they do the service is the wedding date.
