I am a gradaute student from India and worked as a GTA and received 14400 dollars for 2010 of which nearly 500 dollars was withheld as tax. I am single with no dependents . Will I get back all my tax withholdings if I file my tax ?

You will get a refund, but it will only be about $50.

You need to file Form 1040NR-EZ plus Form 8843 plus the state tax return.

As an Indian student, you get to claim the $5,700 standard deduction, but you are NOT eligible for any credit like the Making work Pay Credit.
