    Losing water pressure in shower
I recently repaired a leaky shower faucet. I only replace the washers in both the hot and cold. After this repair my shower head is losing pressure and the water temp does not regulate consistently from one use to the next. The pressure to the tub from the tub faucet seems to be adequate and temperature is good... it's only when I switch it to the showerhead that the pressure gets messed up.

Is the faucet washer replacement work related to this issue or just a coincidence? And, then,

What is my next course of action to remedy this loss of pressure?

    HI Emanuell...

First thing I would do is to remove the shower head and clean it... good chance that when you repaired the washers some sediment got disturbed and partially clogged the shower head.

Next thing I would do is to clean the DIVERTER VALVE itself... see if anything is caught up in that.

You may even need to pull apart the work you did and run water WITHOUT THE STEM ASSEMBLIES in place, purge water through the system to clear the lines and then reassemble all and see how you make out.

Somewhere within this description you should find the trouble... :)

Let us know how you make out, OK?
